What happens at your first hair transplant consultation?

An honest assessment always comes before any treatment. Here is what to expect when you visit Skinnex for the first time, and what you will leave with.

Every treatment at Skinnex begins with an assessment, not a sales pitch. Your first visit is about understanding your concerns properly — no treatment is carried out on the day, and there is no pressure to book.

A conversation first
We start with an unhurried conversation about your concerns, your medical history and what you actually want to achieve. No treatment is recommended at this stage.

A clinical assessment
Your scalp or skin is then examined under magnification, your donor area is evaluated if relevant, and standardised baseline photographs are taken. Blood work is arranged where it is indicated.

A written plan within 48 hours
You leave with an explanation of your diagnosis and the options open to you. Within 48 hours you receive a written plan covering:

  • The recommended approach and realistic expectations
  • The number of sessions involved
  • Full costs, before you commit to anything
  • The alternatives you could consider instead

This article is general information, not medical advice. Suitability, outcomes and recovery vary between individuals and can only be confirmed after an in-person assessment.
